finished alphas for my diorama, I ended up changing several assets to alphas to save on tris, such as the sunflower petals and cabbage leaves. the branch was duplicated twice and darkened and desaturated to give a fuller overall look with more depth. the grass was heavily stylised and the texture reused in other assets to give a more holistic and coherent finish.

tileable bark for my diorama tree, i wanted to do something stylised and overlapping like scales or feathers to add an extra dimension the ethereal dwelling i concepted, giving the idea that everything is alive and moving

renders of flat objects to practice perspective. i enjoyed this exercise and think i got a pretty good result overall, i'm going to do some building work in my spare time and put the perspective/structural techniques i learnt in class and at the LMSDC to good use.

concept idea for my diorama, i ended up refining my initial design and working on making the silhouette and flow of the piece more interesting visually.

4 quick sketches and a long textured drawing from New Walk Museum. The textured tree kangaroo needs more shading overall to give a sense of proper tone and light direction.
